Meeting SDKWeb

Version 4.0.0

Action requiredBreaking changeBug fixSDK version

Summary:Includes deprecation of SDK key or client ID in the join function, WebRTC support for gallery view and virtual backgrounds without SharedArrayBuffer, and corrected language codes. Addition of AIC 2.0 integration for desktop, enhanced annotation tools, new Q&A controls, and updated REST APIs. Also includes a breaking change to internationalization (i18n) methods and several UI enhancements and bug fixes across both client and component views.

General

Action required / future breaking change

  • The sdkKey value is deprecated in both the JWT signature and the join function. This value was the same as the appKey.
    • Now you only need to provide the appKey in the JWT.
    • In the join function, the SDK extracts the SDK key or client ID from the JWT, so you no longer need to pass the sdkKey in the join function. See join function properties for details.
    • Please update your JWT signature and join code to not pass this value as it may cause errors if you sent it in future SDK versions.

Added

  • Correct jp-JP → ja-JP and ko-KO → ko-KR language codes for details.
  • WebRTC support for gallery view and virtual backgrounds. No need to use SharedArrayBuffer (SAB) for these features. WebRTC requires UDP ports 8801-8804 and TCP ports 8801 and 8802. See Zoom network firewall or proxy server settings  for details.
